Blue Range Ranch beef is raised from birth to finish at San Juan Ranch, in Saguache, CO, at the northern end of the San Luis Valley.

San Juan Ranch adheres to organic practices, meaning we use no fertilizers (other than a bit of compost!), pesticides, or herbicides.

We also work closely with the Audubon Society of the Rockies, through their Conservation Ranching Initiative to maintain and improve habitat for grassland birds and waterfowl.

Other than a diverse array of forage, our herd receives only organic sea salt and mineral, and a bit of organic hay, throughout their lives. If an animal gets sick, we employ natural remedies before using pharmaceutical treatments.

Simply put, we rely on good management of land and animals to maintain a healthy system!
